V. "Bala" Balasubramanian, earned his Ph.D. and MBA from Rutgers University in 1997 while working full time. Bala currently heads the Life Sciences Business Unit at Orion. He is a winner of the Albert Einstein Award for Innovation in 2016 under the auspices of NJ Immigrant Entrepreneur Awards.
